Free KDP page check
Drop in your interior PDF. You'll see if every page is the same size, and whether that size fits KDP's paperback range with or without bleed.
Your file stays on your computer. This page reads it in your browser and sends it nowhere.
Want the margins, gutter, pictures, fonts and cover checked too? The KDP Rejection Checker checks all 58 reasons KDP gives for refusing a paperback, on your computer. $9.
What it checks
- How many pages, against KDP's minimum of 24 (72 for standard color ink).
- That every page is the same size.
- Whether that size fits KDP's paperback range (width 4 to 8.5 in, height 6 to 11.69 in), read both ways: without bleed, and with bleed (KDP adds 0.125 in to the width and 0.25 in to the height).
- The file size, against KDP's 650 MB limit.
What it doesn't check
- Margins and the gutter, picture resolution, fonts, and the cover. Those need the KDP Rejection Checker.
- It can't read a password-protected PDF.
Rules read from KDP's own pages on Nov 3, 2026: Set Trim Size, Bleed, and Margins, Print Options and Paperback Submission Guidelines. KDP makes the final call.
