About

Ask Claude "Help me get my KDP business set up" and it walks you through it, one step at a time, in folders on your own computer.

What it does

  • An organized business folder: a start-here page, a decisions log, a Monday scorecard, and one folder per book. It never changes a file you already have.
  • A title check: your title and subtitle against KDP's own rules, including the 200-character limit and the colon Amazon adds for you.
  • What one copy earns: print cost, royalty and breakeven price for your page count, ink and trim, from Amazon's published rates.

Install and use

After the install, ask Claude in plain words:

"Help me get my KDP business set up."
  1. Unzip the download.
  2. Windows: right-click the folder, choose Open in Terminal, run .\install.ps1. Mac: run sh install.sh in Terminal.
  3. The setup check says PASS. Copy the folder into Claude Code's skills folder.
